Beautiful location with stunning views. Peaceful and close to attractive villages with good access to estuary and beaches. Exposed outdoor cold shower (brutal!) and composting loo as advertised. Loo shed clean and in good order.
Tips for other travellers
Kingsbridge, an attractive historic town, is very close. It has an abundance of shops, places to eat and drink and the Quay is picturesque and delightful.

Enjoying the full load of nature but still being close to Kingsbridge - we had a water problem but the next morning someone came straight away to fix it.

Fairly easy to get to, lovely big field so you can spread out well, amazing view over the estuary, eco sawdust toilet, very well built, clean and only smell was fresh pine, cold shower and tap for mains water. Site checked and maintained each day by owner.
Tips for other travellers
If you're having a bimble in Kingsbridge town buy a Devonshire Pasty from 'The BAKE SHOP' soooo yummy then walk up the hill to the church and find picnic tables and benches to sit and see lovely views over area.

Great view of the Kingsbridge Estuary, 5 minute walk from town. Very friendly staff! Lots of free space for the dog to run around.

Fantastic location with stunning views of the estuary. You can walk in Kingsbridge and Salcombe is only a short drive. We found this to be a very relaxed and quiet site. You can choose where you pitch your tent so there’s plenty of room away from other campers. Great value.

Big open field site with lovely views of the Estuary, only a short walk from Town, yet far enough away to be quite peaceful. You can pitch were you want and the site is big enough so that everybody isn't crammed in right on top of each other like some other campsites. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely two days in our campervan. Clean facilities and very friendly staff. Woke up to a beautiful view each morning. A short walk down a hill to the town, where there are some nice shops and restaurants and a short drive to beautiful beaches. Would highly recommend.

Arrived and was greeted by Abbey, the views from the site were smashing. There's a supply of fresh eggs in an honesty box near the field entrance, need to be early though as the locals buy them all.
Tips for other travellers
There's a little footpath that goes by the main carpark in town, it begins on the right, just on the other side of the bridge @ the bottom of the hill. The crabshell Inn seems popular. The local chipshop (the Codfather) has queues (quite long) from before opening till it closes, quite off putting but it says a lot about the quality of the food.... Lovely little town, Eatery on the square, seating under brollys etc... Footpaths either side of the boat filled Salcombe estuary are lined with sightseers & crabbers. It's idyllic.

Great site, lovely people. Only booked 4 nights but extended it to seven, would have stayed another week if work hadn't reared its ugly head.

Turn up, pitch up, chill out & have a relaxing break.

Woodhouse Farm Eco Campsite was a pleasant surprise with its beautiful views , peaceful setting and caring owners. The Eco facilities were basic but very clean. The owners were friendly and very helpful - explaining about the area and what places were close by. I would recommend this site for a peaceful getaway and would be happy to return.

We visited a few take away restaurants in Kingsbridge - The Codfather fish and chip shop - as long as you don’t mind queuing was the best fish & chips I’ve ever had! The Maha-Bharat Indian restaurant was also delicious. We visited Hope Cove and Slapton Sands but if you find walking difficult it might be worth getting the ferry to Salcombe as parking is difficult.

This is a great spot, but note you need to be tough enough for a cold shower! We had our own shower in the motorhome so loved it!

The most beautiful, peaceful location, gorgeous view and only a short walk into town. The only downside is no hot water. At all. Everything else is lovely but I can’t cope with a cold shower.

Around 10 min walk to Kingsbridge. Although a nice little town, there are only a few reastraunts and pubs. We were hoping to eat out on our 2nd night but everywhere was fully booked. No problem for us we just popped into Morrisons and got some more bits.

Fab weekend at Eco camping. Quick to walk to town if you so wish or simply go to the farmers Market with the best fishmongers stall. Husband climbed down the hill to fish and caught a huge sea bass. Lovely little site. Highly recommend 🙂

Carol, David and Abbey were great hosts. This is a new venture for them and we stayed on their opening weekend. Basic facilities but all that was needed for our two night stay. Beautiful setting with stunning views from the site over the Kingsbridge estuary.
Tips for other travellers
Site is within easy access to visit the local area of Salcombe, Totnes and some of the lovely beaches in the area. Short walk to Kingsbridge town which has a variety of shops and plenty of take aways and pubs/restaurants. Access can be obtained to the estuary from slip way from local car park if you wanted to kayak or paddle board.
